Work with a Registered Dietitian Board Certified in Obesity and Weight Management
We take great pride in staffing our full time Registered Dietitian who specializes in bariatrics. As a Bariatric Surgery patient of St. Alexius NewStart, you will never pay to see a dietitian. We believe Registered Dietitians play an integral role in your long-term success, and our nutrition team is eager to help you.
In addition to providing pre-operative education for prospective patients, our Registered Dietitian provides ongoing support to our post-operative patients at monthly support groups, and at every post-operative follow up visit. In addition, she is available by phone or email during office hours.
Our Registered Dietitian is committed to your lifelong weight loss success. We want to be absolutely sure you have a firm foundation of nutrition knowledge before your bariatric surgery. Whether you’ve had surgery previously or you’re considering having surgery in the future, please don’t hesitate to call Julia with any nutrition questions you may have!
